John is a native of Illinois, so while he doesn't enjoy snow, he isn't terrified of it, either. As for heat, he attended college in Arizona so that, likewise, is not a problem. Arizona also instilled a love for the West, which prompted the move here when the opportunity came.
This is following stops in Rockford, Illinois, Cincinnati and Baltimore, where he moved into management for the first time. This led to management positions in Birmingham and Las Vegas.
John spends his free non-news-obsessed time working on and racing his dirt-track car, riding his Ducati or hunting coyotes.
